This agreement applies to any individual entering or present on the property, whether participating in activities or not.

INDEMNIFICATION AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY -

I acknowledge that being around and working around and/or with animals is a dangerous activity, which may result in injury to me or damage to my equipment or personal belongings. With this knowledge, I hereby waive, release, discharge and hold harmless MaKayla Peoples, Jason Perales, and P2 Farm, along with its officers, directors, employees and volunteers, their heirs, executors, administrators, successors or assigns, from all liability for damages sustained by me, any animal owned or controlled by me, or any property owned or possessed by me.

Without limiting the generality of the above, I hereby waive and release P2 Farm, its officers and directors and all volunteers for all liability based on the active or passive negligence of the persons and entities listed above REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THAT NEGLIGENCE IS THE SOLE OR CONCURRING CAUSE OF THE INJURY, DEATH OR DAMAGE.

I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless P2 Farm, MaKayla Peoples, Jason Perales, its officers, directors, and all volunteers associated therewith for any claims which may be made against them, including attorney’s fees and costs of suit in any action based upon or arising from my acts or omissions, or the actions of any animal within my control. I further understand that working with animals in any setting may be dangerous and that it is possible for participants to sustain serious or fatal personal injury. Knowing the risks associated, nevertheless I hereby agree to assume those risks and to indemnify, release and hold harmless all the persons or entities mentioned above who might otherwise be liable to me (or my heirs, agents or assigns) for damages even though such damages may be caused by the negligence of the persons or entity mentioned above. This agreement is binding upon me and my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns.

WARNING: UNDER TEXAS LAW (CHAPTER 87, CIVIL PRACTICE & REMEDIES CODE) A FARM ANIMAL PROFESSIONAL IS NOT LIABLE FOR AN INJURY TO OR THE DEATH OF A PARTICIPANT IN THE FARM ANIMAL ACTIVITIES RESULTING FROM THE INHERENT RISKS OF FARM ANIMAL ACTIVITIES.
