-We have running water and a running bathroom on site next to our communal dining area.
-Please do not ever structurally pull things out of the river or try to dig things out. The horses need the integrity of the riverbed for safety during rides.
-Feel free to book extras last minute, just get in touch with the host and we will let you know what is available.
-Check out our communal box next to the orange sink by the dining area, feel free to use anything in there and feel free to leave behind anything functional that you do not want to lug back home with you for other campers to use.
-Please respect this very special spot, do not carve into trees or damage your surroundings in any way.

*There have been claims of otter sightings just a few properties down from us, try to snap a photo of one if you see one. If seen please respect them and their space so we can continue to harbor a safe and clean space for them to live.*
A Little History...
As cities like Georgetown, Hutto and Taylor and others around Austin, Texas continue to grow; it is easy to forget that these lands were once covered in wildlife and there is a much deeper history to this area than meets the eye. Our neighboring city Round Rock is named for the large, round rock that sits in the middle of Brushy Creek. This was a major landmark for those passing on The Chisholm Trail as it is said to be a place where cowboys could gauge whether or not their cattle could cross the river safely. If the round rock showed, it was safe to cross the river, if it did not then the cattle were not safe to cross the high waters. Come camp on the same rivers those cowboys camped along while herding cattle to The Chisholm Trail. Our private river access showcases the history of the land and the river. Walk through the river and see the deep ravines that have been carved in the walls around you where the river used to run much deeper.
