PSquared Farm & Equestrian Center in Georgetown, Texas is looking for an experienced Assistant Instructor & Guide to join our family team!

 

⚠️ The Requirements:

• Teaching Experience: Background in coaching, teaching, or youth/camp programs. Must love working with kids and building up beginners.

• Horse & Trail Experience: Multiple years of consistent riding and a background in a formal, structured lesson or training program. Confident managing horses and public guests on open trails.

• Ground Handling: 100% comfortable catching, haltering, thoroughly grooming, and tacking up horses independently.

 

📋 The Job:

• Customer Service: Welcoming our clients, parents, and families with genuine warmth, patience, and exceptional service.

• Lessons & Trails: Teaching safety-focused beginner lessons and guiding public trail rides through the pastures and the San Gabriel River.

• Horse & Barn Care: Handling daily needs like feeding, post-ride cooling, meticulous grooming, tack cleaning, and keeping the barn tidy.

 

⏰ The Schedule:

• Monday evenings, Friday evenings, and/or Saturdays (mornings, evenings, or both).

• Includes 3 to 4 back-to-back lessons with paid prep and cleanup time.

 

💰 The Pay:

• $18 – $25 per hour (based on experience).

• Plus extra income through tips from our trail ride guests!
